Do you have a showroom ?
Yes we do, you can come and visit us and see some of these products on display in our showroom in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire. WN8 9SA.
Please note that not everything we show on our website is on display in our store. So please ring before travelling long distances to ensure that we have products on display that you wish to view.

How do I place my order ?
To place your order simply choose your item by clicking on the (Add to cart) button. If you have selected items incorrectly these can be removed. When you have finished shopping simply click on the checkout button and enter your details and credit card information. This is all done via Barclays, on behalf of Allwood Furniture. If you have any questions about your payment email sales@allwoodfurniture.co.uk with your transaction sales ID order number.
If you wish we can process your order for you over the telephone. Simply make a note of the items you wish to purchase and have your credit card details ready. Phone 01695 732837 and we will do the rest.

What method of payments do you accept ?
All transactions are processed via our fully secure order/checkout form and payment needs to be made with a major credit / debit card.

I only wish to pay a 20% deposit ?
You can do this by calling us on 01695 732837 between 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.
We shall then process your order for you and take a deposit.
The advantages of using this method are :
1. you can request a specific day for delivery and check delivery charges;
2. we can confirm stock availablity and order time;
3. you can order / reserve and collect from our store if you wish;
4. you only pay a deposit first. The balance is paid once the goods are available.

When will I receive my furniture ?
Once we receive your order you should receive a reply via email confirming your details are correct and that payment has been taken from your credit / debit card. You will then either be given a day for despatch or information regarding how long this may be. Most of our items are despatched within 2-3 working days. Items that are not in stock can take up to 3-4 weeks. This information is normally displayed in the product description.

Can I state when I would prefer my delivery ?
Yes, We can arrange to despatch your furniture any week day ( Monday to Friday ) on a overnight delivery service (this service carries a £5.00 *surcharge) so you will normally receive it the very next working day. All we require is 48 hrs notice prior to day of despatch. We however cannot guarantee or be held responsible if it does not arrive on this day. If you do not receive your delivery by 5.30pm please contact us so we can track your parcel`s and advise you accordingly.
If you require a Saturday delivery this can be made by special arrangement giving us 48 hours notice, (this service carries a £25.00 *surcharge). *These charges will need to be processed separately over the telephone.

How will my furniture arrive ?
Your furniture will arrive fully boxed and very well wrapped to protect it during transportation. Your items will normally be delivered by our couriers who are one of the UK's largest and most successful quick delivery parcel networks. We have now been dealing with this company for many years and they have proved to be the most realiable. In order for us to provide a low cost delivery service heavy items may require your assistance on delivery. This information is also stated in our terms and conditions which you will need to agree to.

What happens if some of my furniture is damaged or parts are missing ?
If you receive your furniture and there is any damage, defect or missing parts then we can simply provide you with that particular component. In most circumstances there is no need for the whole item to be replaced. Most of the products supplied are home assembly products; this makes it easy for us to send out the necessary component immediately either from ourselves or the manufacturer. This process allows a faster and simpler solution to the problem. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the correct component then a full replacement product will be dispatched and the damaged one collected at no cost.

Do you supply a warranty ?
All our products are supplied with a 12 month manufacturer`s warranty, provided that the manufacturer`s care and maintenance instructions have been followed. All timescales with respect to these warranties are calculated from the date of receipt of goods.

Are there any additional charges to add to your prices shown ?
All our prices shown are inclusive of any VAT and any delivery charges for mainland UK are shown clearly within the product descriptions, are capped to a maximum for your area and are shown within the checkout shopping cart.

Do you provide help with the assembly of your flat pack furniture ?
Please feel free to contact us if you require any help or information with the assembly of your furniture. Because of the distance of most deliveries we, unfortunately, cannot provide a service throughout the whole country to assemble it for you. You could however contact someone who specialises in the assembly of flat pack furniture. We do assemble our products but only within certain parts of the North West. I need to see the finish of your furniture. Can you supply a wood sample ?
Yes. For most of our furniture we can post a small wood sample if you need to compare the finish with other furniture you may already have. You can order one for many of our ranges from our shopping cart or just email us with your details, telephone number and the name of the furniture you require a sample for. We will then contact you to confirm when we can post it to you and to charge a small fee of £2.00 to cover cost of postage and administration.

Are your prices really the best ?
Yes. When comparing prices we feel we are providing some of the most competitive prices around for furniture of this quality and style. We also provide a high level of service to all our customers. If you also take into account the extra savings made by shopping online ie no driving around, searching, arranging collection / delivery and the convenience of having the items delivered to your door at a very low delivery costs, then we are sure you will agree this has to make purchasing our furniture the best value anywhere in the UK.

How safe are my personal details ?
We respect your privacy and have a strict company privacy policy. Your full details and email address will not be passed on to any third parties other than ones in connection with our business for delivery purposes only. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR). We also have additional security checks in place to combat credit card fraud, by checking your card is being used by you, the actual card holder.
